Dough Raiser - Garden City Pizza supports the fight against Breast Cancer!

GARDEN CITY PIZZA and BOSOM BUDDIES will be donating a large "slice" of all sales of food and apparel to the American Cancer Society and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer to fund the research needed to defeat this pervasive disease.

Excluding cancers of the skin, breast cancer is the most common cancer among women, accounting for nearly 1 in 3 cancers diagnosed in US women.

GARDEN CITY PIZZA, located at 670 Franklin Avenue in Garden City, has long been a community favorite for delicious Italian entrees, salads and pizzas.  BOSOM BUDDIES, founded in 2010 by Long Island breast cancer survivor, Darcy Novick, has become a driving force in fundraising for a cure. BOSOM BUDDIES, is already a highly recognizable organization in the Long Island area and beyond, for its inspirational message of the hope and strength found through friendship and love. Come have lunch or dinner, meet Darcy and buy a BOSOM BUDDIES sweatshirt or T-shirt to help the cause.

Long Island's favorite radio station, WBAB 102.3 FM, will be there supporting the event on site with giveaways.
